The OECD International Conference on AI in Work, Innovation, Productivity, and Skills will take place on 12 and 13 December 2024 in an online format. This annual event will feature over 10 live sessions, bringing together leading voices from policy, business, academia, and civil society. By attending, you will delve into the transformative impact of AI on employment, skills, productivity, and innovation, and explore how social policies can adapt to these changes.

Participants will discuss AI's potential and its diffusion across various sectors, examining its effects on productivity and the associated risks and opportunities for workers. The conference will also address the integration of AI in training systems for workplace adoption, the use of AI in public employment services, the relationship between competition and AI developments, and the implications of AI in high-stakes exams. Additionally, the event will cover AI incidents and other pertinent topics.

The OECD programme on AI in Work, Innovation, Productivity, and Skills (AI-WIPS) analyses the impact of AI on the labour market, skills, and social policy. This year's AI-WIPS conference promises to provide valuable insights and foster discussions on the future of AI in the workplace.
