The European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) has launched a call focused on strengthening mutual learning between EU Member States in the field of social finance and related financial instruments. This initiative supports public authorities, social finance providers, and social economy stakeholders to share best practices, develop guidance, and build networks that advance financial tools for the social economy. The funding targets collaborative efforts that improve the uptake and design of mechanisms like social impact bonds, guarantees, and blended finance tailored to social enterprises.

The call is open to applicants from EU Member States and countries associated with the ESF+. Proposals should involve a minimum of two eligible organisations from different countries. Projects can include study visits, expert exchanges, joint working groups, and the development of common tools or recommendations.

Applications are open now, with a deadline of 19 June 2025 (17:00 CEST). Visit the European Commission portal for full details and application guidance.
