In May 2025, the European Commission launched a call for evidence to support the revision of the EU Air Services Regulation, which governs market access, pricing, and operational freedoms within the EU aviation sector. The initiative aims to modernise the rules in light of lessons from the COVID-19 pandemic, evolving market conditions, and environmental goals. It seeks to gather early input to help shape a more resilient, sustainable, and consumer-focused internal aviation market. Stakeholders are invited to submit feedback via the Commission’s portal by 9 June 2025.
