The Sustainable Tourism in the Mediterranean event, taking place on November 21, 2024, from 9:00 to 13:30, will be held as part of the Sun&Blue Congress. This forum aims to unite stakeholders in the tourism sector to address climate adaptation and mitigation strategies within the Mediterranean tourism ecosystem. Key discussions will focus on developing actionable climate action plans for regional tourism departments and destination management organizations (DMOs). The event will also feature a policy debate on integrating climate strategies in tourism, drawing insights from a diverse range of participants, including environmental advocates and regional tourism networks. Attendees will have opportunities to collaborate, share best practices, and contribute to the sustainable development of coastal and maritime tourism.
