The European Commission’s Green Public Procurement (GPP) is hosting an online-webinar on September 17, 2024. The event will focus on promoting decent work and combating social dumping through public procurement. It will also address the mandatory horizontal social clause in Article 18.2 of Directive 2014/24/EU, which requires compliance with environmental, social, and labor laws in public contracts. The webinar will provide a platform for sharing good practices and experiences from different contracting authorities across the EU, aiming to inspire and equip participants with the knowledge needed to implement effective public procurement strategies.
