The Technical Secretariat (TS), representing more than 51% of the EU hotel market, has released the first draft of the Product Environmental Footprint Category Rules (PEFCR) with the aim of supporting the EU hotel industry in assessing the environmental performance of their accommodation services over their entire life cycle.
An informative webinar is scheduled for 12 February 2025 to present the rules and address any questions regarding this initiative. Hotel industry representatives, environmental organisations, consumer groups, public authorities, and the general public are encouraged to register and participate via the link provided on the left-hand side of the platform.
