The online webinar, organized by the Support Service for Citizen-Led Renovation Projects in collaboration with the EU-funded LIFE Programme project RENOVERTY, focuses on empowering communities to enhance the energy efficiency of their buildings. Scheduled for October 21, 2024, the event will highlight best practices and initiatives aimed at reducing energy demand and emissions across Europe, in line with the EU’s Fit-for-55 goals. Speakers include Julien Tami, Policy Officer at DG Energy, European Commission, followed by panelists who will discuss the crucial role of energy communities in both urban and rural areas, emphasizing their potential to achieve carbon neutrality.
