‘Natural and recycled materials and products for low-carbon construction’ is a free technical conference. Experts will present EU, national, and regional regulations, new tools developed by Instituto Valenciano de la Edificaciòn – Valencia Institute of Buildings (IVE) like the MDC (Materials Catalogue) and the CHC (Environmental Product Registry), and real-world applications such as the Castellón Library renovation (demo pilot for the DeCO2 project).

The event is organised by IVE in collaboration with the regional government and the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), and will take place at the UPV campus in Valencia, Spain. It targets construction professionals, material manufacturers, public authorities, and students interested in sustainable building, environmental product data, and decarbonisation tools.

The conference will comprise two parts: one focusing on the policy framework and another on tools and real-world experiences. The entire event will take place on 5 June 2025 from 9:00 to 13:30 (CEST).
