The “How EMAS Can Support Improving the Sustainability of the Tourism Sector” webinar is scheduled for September 27, 2024, from 10:00 to 12:00 CEST. Organized by the European Commission, this event will explain how the EU Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) can help tourism companies reduce their environmental impacts and enhance transparency for customers. The webinar will highlight the synergies and differences between EMAS and other sustainability initiatives, and provide a platform for tourism organizations to share their experiences and best practices in sustainability. The event is open to both EMAS-registered and non-EMAS-registered organizations.
