The Local Action Group (LAG) Rheinhessen has launched its 5th LEADER funding call to support innovative regional projects that promote community engagement, environmental protection, and tourism development. It aims to strengthen the Rheinhessen region by encouraging creative ideas aligned with its local development strategy.

Eligible applicants include private individuals, public bodies, and non-profit organisations, with funding rates ranging from 30% to 75% depending on the applicant type. A total of EUR 1.1 million has been allocated for this call, with a maximum grant of EUR 250,000 per project. Project outlines must be submitted by 27 August 2025, and selected applicants will be invited to submit full proposals by 12 February 2026 (The original piece available only in German).
