The call for proposals is aimed at restoring oceans and waters by 2030. The project plans to mobilize communities (regions, ports, cities, islands, etc.) and provide them with the necessary support focusing on leveraging resources and investments from these communities to restore oceans, seas, and waters. The project plans to provide financial support to third parties for community-led pilot actions, transition agendas, and technical assistance. Each proposal should plan to award at least 5 cascading grants ranging from EUR 200,000 to EUR 2 million to community-led pilot actions.
