The European Commission has launched the Cross-border Cooperation Programme to enhance good neighbourly relations and foster Union integration between Kosovo and North Macedonia. This initiative aims to strengthen the social, economic, and territorial development of the programme's cross-border area by focusing on environmental protection, resource preservation, and boosting competitiveness and business development. For the tourism sector, the second thematic priority, "Competitiveness, business environment and SME development, trade and investment," is applicable. The goal is to increase cross-border trade and tourism services. SMEs based in Kosovo or North Macedonia that operate in tourism or agriculture are eligible to apply. Applications are accepted until 9 December 2024.
