The Italian Ministry of Tourism is offering up to EUR 2,000 in funding for tourism businesses in Italy to obtain or maintain recognised sustainability certifications.

The Italian Ministry of Tourism has announced a funding call supporting sustainability in the Italian tourism sector through Public Notice No. 2. It aims to encourage tourism businesses to adopt or maintain environmental certifications such as EMAS, EU Ecolabel, and various ISO standards, promoting eco-friendly practices and competitiveness.Eligible entities include tourism-related businesses operating in Italy. Each applicant may receive up to EUR 2,000 to cover costs related to obtaining, renewing, or maintaining recognised sustainability certifications. Applications must be submitted digitally via the Ministry’s platform by 31 December 2025 (The original piece available only in Italian).
