The Interreg Saxony–Czech Republic 2021–2027 programme is inviting proposals for cross-border projects that promote regional development and cooperation, with funding of up to 80% available and a submission deadline of 20 October 2025.

The Interreg Saxony–Czech Republic 2021–2027 programme has launched a call for proposals to support cross-border cooperation projects aimed at promoting regional development and addressing shared challenges in the Saxony–Czech Republic border region.
Projects may be submitted under four key priorities:
- Innovation and competitiveness
- Climate change and sustainability
- Education, lifelong learning, culture, and tourism (with available funding of EUR 64,308,399)
- Cooperation and trust-building
Eligible applicants include public institutions, non-profit organisations, research bodies, and SMEs from both Saxony and the Czech Republic. Each project must involve at least one partner from each side of the border.
Selected projects may receive up to 80% co-financing.
The next application deadline is 20 October 2025 (The original piece available only in German).
