The Slovenian Tourist Board (STB) has announced a public call for co-financing initiatives aimed at promoting and digitalising Slovenia’s tourism offerings in 2025. The call targets leading tourist destinations, with the goal of enhancing the visibility of the entire area represented by each destination. Emphasis is placed on promoting sustainable tourism, supporting green and digital transition, and fostering collaboration among destinations.
Eligible applicants include organisations that serve as key drivers of tourism development and promotion within designated leading destinations, with the support of local destination organisations or municipalities in the identified areas. Eligible entities may include private institutions, public institutions, public economic institutions, municipalities, local tourism organisations, and other non-profit organisations active in the tourism sector.
A total of EUR 1.8 million in funding is available, with a co-financing rate of up to 80% of eligible costs, divided into two thematic sets. Applications must be submitted by 12 June 2025 (The original piece available only in Slovenian).
