The province of Groningen is inviting entrepreneurs and organisations to enhance and highlight creative and innovative leisure activities in the Ommelanden (Groningen province), Netherlands. Businesses and foundations registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce can apply for funding for tourism or recreational initiatives that occur before 1 October 2025. Eligible projects must collaborate with at least one entity, such as a museum, cafĂ©, restaurant, nature reserve, or publicly accessible heritage site in the Ommelanden, and must align with specified themes. Additionally, applications must integrate with the existing recreational route network for walking, cycling, or sailing in Groningen. Applications are open from 25 April 2025 to 31 May 2025, with a total budget of EUR 200,000 and a maximum of EUR 15,000 available per project.
