Aktion Mensch, a German private social funding organisation committed to promoting inclusion and enhancing the lives of people with disabilities, has introduced the “Barrierefreiheit für alle” (Accessibility for All) funding programme. This initiative aims to support projects that facilitate the participation of people with disabilities in society. Within the programme, there are several types of funding available: micro-funding for small, accessible local projects; project funding for larger, temporary initiatives aimed at increasing accessibility; start-up support to help with the initial financial years of outpatient services; and investment promotion for acquisitions such as the purchase or reconstruction of real estate. Support ranges from EUR 5,000 to EUR 450,000, depending on the funding opportunity within the programme.
