The IKAT project is a program designed to support the revised tourism strategy put forth by the European Commission. This strategy primarily targets the European tourism industry, with a special emphasis on maritime and coastal regions in the Mediterranean and Black Sea areas. The project engages a variety of sectors and stakeholders that constitute Europe’s tourism industry ecosystem, including clusters in Maritime and Logistics, Tourism, and Innovation and Water Quality Control. The project offers work packages to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the tourism sector, tailored to their regional vulnerability and economic reliance on tourism.
