Invest2030, a programme promoted under Portugal2030, supports private SMEs in mainland Portugal across the services, industry, and tourism sectors. Its main aim is to foster the production of new goods and services or significantly improve existing ones through innovation, knowledge transfer, and modernisation of business processes. Eligible applicants include micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises undertaking projects such as establishing new facilities, expanding capacity, diversifying production, or transforming production processes. The minimum investment is EUR 300,000, and the maximum is EUR 25 million, with eligible costs covering equipment, construction, software, patents, and consultancy. The project duration is 24 months, and applicants must meet financial autonomy criteria if operating for over a year (The original piece available only in Portuguese).
