The Investment and Structural Bank of Rhineland-Palatinate has launched the programme “Improving the Quality of Services in the Rhineland-Palatinate Hospitality Sector,” aimed at enhancing the competitiveness and service standards of the regional hospitality industry. It supports projects that align with the state’s tourism strategy, particularly those improving guest experience, modernising facilities, and extending the tourism season.Eligible applicants include small and medium-sized enterprises such as hotels, guesthouses, campsites, and traditional restaurants based in Rhineland-Palatinate. The programme offers grants covering up to 20% of eligible investment costs for construction, expansion, or modernisation, with the exact a maximum grant amount generally equaling to EUR 500,000. The applications for funding must be submitted before the start of the investment project (The original piece available only in German).
