Our EU-funded project AMIGDALA maps the pathway of the European energy system with a focus on circularity (1/24-12/27) within the energy intensive industries. Of particular interest is the interaction of recycling vs. virgin production over time. The project counts on the expertise from the steel industry and from the chemical industry to compare the pathways of different products. Specifically, it is of interest which contribution could be expected from technologies in the area of chemical recycling of plastic waste.
