The report from the Croatian Bureau of Statistics for July 2024 indicates a mixed performance in tourism. Tourist arrivals decreased by 2% compared to July 2023, but overnight stays increased by 0.5%. German tourists had the highest number of arrivals and overnight stays, followed by tourists from Slovenia and Poland. The report also highlights that the most popular destinations for foreign tourists were Istria, Primorje-Gorski Kotar, and Split-Dalmatia counties. Despite the slight drop in arrivals, the overall trend shows a stable tourism sector with a focus on key markets and popular regions (The original piece available only in Croatian).
