The Consumer Footprint Calculator, developed by the European Commission, allows EU citizens to assess the environmental impacts of their consumption patterns across five areas: food, housing, mobility, household goods, and appliances. Using a life cycle-based approach, the tool evaluates resource use and emissions from raw material extraction to end-of-life. It provides insights through 16 environmental impact indicators, helping users understand and reduce their personal environmental footprint.
