The UNWTO Tourism Academy offers an online course on culinary arts and gastronomy, designed for policymakers and culinary professionals. Running for four weeks, the course covers the history of gastronomy, the relationship between tourism and cuisine, and sustainable practices aligned with the UN's 2030 Agenda. Participants will learn about the gastronomic tourism value chain, planning and managing gastronomic destinations, and promoting social inclusion and economic empowerment through food tourism. The registration is free of charge and possible via the link provided on the website, with an optional final exam and certificate of completion available for 49 EUR.
