The TUI Care Foundation-powered e-Academy is a platform for learning online created to give tourists in tourist destinations access to digital education. "Energy Efficency in Hospitality" is a self-paced course intended for senior managers in the tourist industry who wish to learn more about the vital role that energy management plays in hotel operations. It explores how energy use affects carbon emissions and emphasises the value of stakeholder participation in the development of successful policies. Attendees will get knowledge on how to evaluate the energy consumption of hotel infrastructure and put efficiency-boosting strategies into action. After passing the evaluation and finishing the course, which usually takes an hour, participants receive a badge. The resource is freely available for using on the provided link after registration.
