The “Event Management in the Tourism Sector” course, part of the eTourism project, is designed to equip participants with essential skills and knowledge for effective event management within the tourism industry. This course blends theoretical lessons with practical case studies to enhance the professional capabilities of tourism professionals. It covers five key topics: the essence and structure of event tourism, the historical development of event tourism, the classification and role of different types of events in tourism, event planning and organization, and marketing strategies for event organization. The course is available in a single document format and has a total duration of approximately 5 hours (300 minutes).
