By enrolling in the Sustainable Destination Management course, developed by Lucerne University HSLU, participants will have the opportunity to perceive the destination as the primary unit of competition and to view it as an ecosystem. This course will facilitate an understanding of the role of Destination Management Organizations and how they, in collaboration with stakeholders, can enhance destination development. With this foundation, attendees will delve into the fundamentals of sustainable tourism, exploring key stakeholders and systems crucial for sustainable destination management.
