The ReS-Food initiative—“Reducing Food Waste and Rescuing Surplus Food Supplies”—co-funded by the EU and concluded on 31 October 2024, developed and made freely available a training course tailored for professionals in the HoReCa sector (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés) and supermarkets.

The course is designed for individuals working in these sectors who wish to enhance their skills in sustainable practices and food waste management.

It comprises four modules, covering the following topics:

  • Food Surpluses
  • Food Waste Prevention
  • Regenerative Food Supply
  • From Theory to Practice (with dedicated sections for both Supermarkets and HoReCa)

The course is freely accessible to anyone interested. Participants who complete all modules within a six-week timeframe will receive a certificate of completion, recognising their commitment to professional development and sustainability.
