Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2024/490, issued in November, 2023, amends Delegated Regulation (EU) 2017/1926. By emphasising the provision of multimodal travel information services across the EU, this amendment amends Directive 2010/40/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council. Aiming to promote robust, intelligent, and sustainable mobility throughout the European transportation network, the law also attempts to improve the accessibility of dynamic datasets. By encouraging automated and networked multimodal transportation and lowering emissions and traffic, it supports the goals of the European Green Deal.
