This country report is part of the ILO's 2018 research project on "Financial Mechanisms for Innovative Social and Solidarity Economy Ecosystems," funded by Luxembourg and conducted with EURICSE, aimed to explore and enhance financial support for SSE organizations. The project comprised three stages: developing an overview of financial mechanisms, examining SSE ecosystems in eight countries, and conducting a comparative analysis to derive policy recommendations. National case studies from Ecuador, Italy, Morocco, the Republic of Korea, and Quebec were instrumental in the final report, which includes updated insights on the impact of COVID-19 and the role of SSE in recovery efforts.
