Are you a policymaker, social economy practitioner or researcher interested in proximity-based solutions and social economy?
New research examines how shared administration between public entities and social economy organisations can address territorial imbalances and social exclusion exacerbated by recent – financial, pandemic, and geopolitical – global crises. The success of this approach hinges on a pluralist approach to governance. Community enterprises play a key role here as they are capable of both addressing social exclusion and reducing spatial inequalities.
It’s clear that cooperative governance models are needed to mitigate polarization and enhance community welfare. Discover this working paper to get insights into the potential of shared administration to create more inclusive and resilient communities.
