To address the high accident rate among room service workers in the hospitality sector, the Balearic Government has committed to installing lifting mechanisms in 100% of the beds in the sector across the Balearic Islands by 2027. This initiative aims not only to reduce the physical strain on workers but also to promote social justice and gender equality.
