The European Travel Commission (ETC) is actively promoting the twin transition in tourism by engaging in initiatives like the Rail Tourism Awards and the Destination of Sustainable Cultural Tourism Awards, while also collaborating with the European Commission’s Expert Group ‘Together for Tourism – T4T’ to support the tourism transition pathway.
Looking ahead, ETC is dedicated to promoting the twin transitions of sustainability and digitalization in tourism, as well as committed to publishing annual reports on their progress towards net-zero goals and providing a guidebook on GHG emissions measuring to support their members.
