According to Travel Tomorrow, Greece is considering using seawater to fill hotel pools due to a two-year-long drought affecting its islands. Proposed legislation in parliament aims to regulate how coastal hotels obtain water for their pools, including the installation of pipelines to pump in seawater for guests. This initiative seeks to conserve water resources during the tourist season, although there are environmental concerns about potential impacts on marine ecosystems.
