The Entry/Exit System (EES) is an automated IT system designed to register travelers from third countries each time they cross an EU external border. This includes both short-stay visa holders and visa-exempt travelers. The system records essential information such as the person’s name, travel document type, and biometric data (fingerprints and captured facial features)
