The European Commission, through the Joint Research Centre, has officially launched the revision of the EU Ecolabel criteria for Tourist Accommodation Services across the EU. This initiative aims to simplify the criteria, reflect technological and market developments, and maintain a high level of environmental ambition. Stakeholders are invited to register and complete a short questionnaire by 11 July 2025, contributing their insights and data to support this science-based policy process. The revision is essential to ensure the EU Ecolabel remains a trusted and effective tool for promoting sustainable tourism services in Europe.
