Between January and May 2025, Slovenia recorded over 1.4 million international tourist arrivals, primarily from Italy, Croatia, and Austria—marking a 7.4% increase compared to the same period in 2024. According to Travel and Tour World (TTW), citing data from the national statistics office, these visitors accounted for 3.3 million overnight stays, indicating a trend towards longer visits. The data suggest a continued upward trajectory in Slovenia’s tourism sector, particularly in the nature, wellness, and cultural segments. This strong performance in the early months of the year may contribute to sustained growth throughout the summer season and beyond.
