EcoMarine Malta is on a mission to connect science with the general public, raising awareness about the marine environment and promoting sustainable marine life watching activities across the Mediterranean and beyond. One of their key initiatives of the company in this direction is to establish a pilot project in Kenya by 2025. This initiative, in collaboration with Taste Roots Cooperative Society and local stakeholders, seeks to offer an alternative to mass tourism by equipping the local community with the knowledge and tools to develop sustainable tourism with a strong educational focus.
