Visit.brussels takes on the role of central "manager" of cultural information for the entire Brussels cultural sector.

  • Agenda by visit.brussels is positioned as a true digital provider of the most comprehensive cultural, event and tourism content thanks to open data, automated data entry, data interfacing and other digital tools.

  • Agenda by visit.brussels provides high-quality, trilingual, comprehensive and (controlled) cultural information as a USP (unique selling point) and thus becomes the reference point for cultural information in Brussels.

  • The Agenda by visit.brussels brand is actively promoted through editorial actions, search engine optimisation and communication aimed at pollinating the different target groups for cultural and event content 

  • A broad consultation and consultation with the actors in the field, both individual and collective, is organized in order to arrive at a communication strategy supported by all the actors

Deliverables

  • Creation of one central online database and backoffice for cultural events in the Brussels Capital Region
  • Creation of automated API-imports and exports for cultural partners and third-party publishers
  • Publication of the data on opendata.brussels in order to render accessible all data to any third party
  • Animation of numerous stakeholders meeting to enhance stakeholders to use the database, to register events in the back office and to acquire necessary funding to support the system
  • Integration of the database in www.visit.brussels in order to cross-fertilize between local and international target groups
  • Establishing an editorial quality control of the database and the creation of extensive creative promotional efforts such as social media campaigns and dedicated editorial articles
  • Creation of a middle-ware platform that communicates with commercial ticketing software of cultural partners in order to offer one-stop-shop for cultural tickets in the Brussels Capital-Region (www.ticketing.brussels

  • creation of one singe cultural database and backoffice

    • signing of an interministerial collaboration agreement between regional authorities concerning Agenda by visit.brussels

  • 2023 : launch of the ticketing platform ticketing.brussels
