CNA Federmoda has entered a structured collaboration with SDA Bocconi’s Monitor for Circular Fashion, with the shared goal of supporting the transition of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in the fashion sector towards sustainable and circular business models. This collaboration includes involvement in EU-funded and research-led initiatives that combine data, design, and stakeholder dialogue.

Core initiatives within the collaboration are:

  • C-Factor (Monitor for Circular Fashion), a curated program to:

    – Identify promising SMEs in the CNA network with high circularity potential;

    – Match SMEs with medium and large players in the Monitor for Circular Fashion network;

    – Facilitate pilot projects and experiments between these actors;

    – Support scaling and visibility for circular innovation through national dissemination and matchmaking events

  • EU Policy Dialogue Event – “Circular Economy and the Fashion Industry: Dialogue on Key Priorities”

As part of its ongoing collaboration with SDA Bocconi School of Management through the Monitor for Circular Fashion, CNA Federmoda is co-organising a high-level policy dialogue event at the European Parliament in Brussels. The event aims to bring together institutional stakeholders, SMEs, and major fashion players to advance the conversation on circularity in the textile and apparel industry. Moreover, the joint need between SMEs and bigger market fashion players are to share recommendations and joint positions from SMEs and large companies on circular transition needs, and present the “Circular Fashion Manifesto” and Joint Position Paper developed within the Monitor for Circular Fashion.
