The European Commission's Strategy about sustainable and smart mobility, presented in 2020, outlines a roadmap for transforming European transport. It aims to achieve a green and digital future while enhancing resilience to crises. The strategy focuses on 10 key areas, including inter-urban and urban mobility, connected and automated mobility, innovation and transport safety. The accompanying action plan lists 82 initiatives to be implemented over the next four years.
