The ADRIONCYCLETOUR project, running from September 2022 to August 2025, seeks to promote sustainable tourism and mobility in the Adriatic-Ionian region. Its main focus is to develop a cycling route along the Adriatic coastline of Italy and Slovenia, linking coastal and inland areas. The project advocates for a “slow tourism” approach, highlighting the cultural and natural heritage of the region. Key initiatives include infrastructure upgrades, enhanced intermodal transport options, and the promotion of responsible tourism practices. Through cross-border collaboration, ADRIONCYCLETOUR aims to create an innovative and appealing tourism offering that benefits both residents and visitors.
