The Cross-Re-Tour project, co-financed by the COSME programme of the European Union and scheduled from September 2023 to August 2026, champions the adoption and adaptation of tools and solutions from other domains into tourism business operations, thereby fostering regenerative tourism approaches. The project, encapsulated in its acronym representing three key concepts, aims to develop a management and governance philosophy. By facilitating scalability and replicability of tools, Cross-Re-Tour endeavors to optimize their utilization and dissemination within the business community and society at large. Through its promotion of open innovation, the project empowers SMEs to enhance their operational performance by integrating digital, green, and circular economy practices, thereby propelling the twin transition in tourism.
