The DIDYMOS-XR project, funded by the European Union and launched in 2023, is a three-year initiative focused on advancing technologies for creating large-scale, real-time synchronized digital twins. Conducted across various European research institutions, the project aims to develop advanced methods for 3D scene reconstruction using diverse cameras and sensor data. This initiative is vital for improving extended reality (XR) applications, fostering innovation, and enhancing practical uses in areas like urban planning and industrial environments.
