The European Data Space for Smart Communities (DS4SSCC) project, taking place from October 2023 to September 2026, aims to create a large-scale, cross-sectorial data space to support smart communities across Europe. It focuses on sustainable development, data interoperability, and collaboration among public and private stakeholders. The project establishes a governance framework, delivers priority datasets, and develops strategies for data sharing and management. By fostering innovation and aligning with the EU’s Digital Decade objectives, DS4SSCC seeks to enhance the quality of life for European citizens through smarter, more connected communities.
