The Eco-Tourism Innovations for Rural Development (ETIRD) project is designed to empower rural tourism entrepreneurs, farmers, and local producers through extensive training and support. Focused on promoting sustainable tourism practices, the initiative aims to boost economic opportunities while preserving the region's natural and cultural heritage. Launched in October 2023, the project will run for 36 months, concluding in September 2026. A key goal is to foster strong community engagement and collaboration, ensuring that the benefits of eco-tourism are shared broadly across local populations.
