The FUTOURWORK project, funded by the EU, aims to reshape the future of work in Europe’s tourism and hospitality sector by driving systemic changes in how labour challenges are approached. Running from 1 January 2025 to 30 June 2028, the initiative emphasises the importance of involving all workers in the sector in social dialogue.

Coordinated by the University of Westminster in the United Kingdom, the project brings together seven partners from Portugal, Romania, Greece, Sweden, Bulgaria, and the UK.

Key expected outcomes include launching an industry well-being index and benchmarking tool, examining variations in social dialogue among partner countries, developing resources to empower tourism and hospitality workers, and fostering multi-stakeholder discussions about worker well-being in the sector.
