The Smart Blue Tourism project, funded by the EU's NextGenerationEU under the National Recovery and Resilience Program 2021-2026, aims to create innovative smart, safe, and green marinas to enhance nautical tourism's resilience and sustainability. Starting on 1 July 2023 and lasting 24 months, the project focuses on digital solutions for operational efficiency, automation, self-sustainability, safety, environmental protection, and destination development. Key beneficiaries include marina owners, managers, boaters, tourists, employees, and citizens, with broader impacts on employment, green tourism, and mobility. Partners include the Maritime Center of Excellence, MS Tech, Lürssen Design Center Kvarner, and several universities and companies.
