The LIBECCIO project, funded by the Interreg Euro-MED Programme, aims to improve tourism governance, destination management, sustainability, and risk resilience in the Euro-Mediterranean area through digital transformation. Coordinated by the Euro-Mediterranean Regional and Local Assembly, it focuses on enhancing cooperation among stakeholders and promoting innovative solutions for sustainable tourism. Running from January, 2024, to September, 2026, the initiative highlights the importance of digital tools in addressing tourism challenges and fostering a resilient and sustainable tourism sector.
