The European Commission, in partnership with the Croatian government, is financing the upgrade of the Florian&Godlar hotel in Croatia, as part of a wider effort to promote the green and digital transition in tourism. This initiative, backed by an EU contribution of €4 million, seeks to advance sustainable tourism by boosting energy efficiency, utilizing renewable energy, promoting the circular economy, and incorporating digital technologies. The project focuses on less developed tourist regions to enhance employment and economic sustainability in local communities, with completion expected by June 30, 2026.
